A series of enhanced quality assurance protocols were implemented earlier this year to detect problems earlier in the production process . These measures include expanded component-level inspections, more rigorous supplier testing, and robust controls over the procurement and manufacturing processes of battery cells and materials.
Thanks to these measures, a potential problem has been identified in widely used lithium-ion battery cells sourced from a single supplier. These battery cells are also used in several Anker powerbank models. Although the probability of failure is low, a voluntary global recall has been initiated for several powerbank models. This recall is being conducted voluntarily by Anker without any official warning or widespread failure notification. This voluntary recall is being carried out in cooperation with local regulatory authorities in each region and in full compliance with local regulations.
Looking ahead, to further strengthen product safety and supply chain reliability, Anker will launch a formal, public initiative called the Battery Safety Program, which will take existing safety measures to the next level. This program will ensure greater transparency in supplier accountability, cell-level performance testing, and end-to-end quality assurance processes across all Anker battery-powered products.

To initiate a recall request, please make the following preparations:
Take a photo of your purchase document (receipt/invoice) and the device's model number and serial number, and prepare it for uploading in the next steps.
If you cannot find proof of purchase: Write the following information on a piece of paper:
Write down the information in this format and take a photo showing the device's model number and serial number.
Important Note: The photo you take must clearly show the device's model number and serial number. Please have the model number and serial number ready, as you will be asked to include this information during the application process.

1. Customized Gift Coupon: Customers who choose a gift coupon valid at www.anker-tr.com will receive an extra coupon worth 200 TL in addition to the device price.
2. Refund: Consumers with proof of purchase (receipt/invoice) will receive a refund based on the amount stated on the receipt. Consumers without proof of purchase will receive a refund based on the average retail price valid for the year 2025.
